Curriculum
Forming Minds and Hearts for Life
At PAREF Rosehill, we believe that education is not just about achieving academic success—it’s about forming persons of character, intellect, and purpose.
From Grade School to Senior High School, our curriculum is designed to challenge the mind, shape the heart, and prepare each girl for a meaningful life. Rooted in a student-centered approach, our academic program equips learners to think critically, reflect deeply, and respond compassionately to the world around them.
Lessons are intellectually rigorous, values-driven, and life-relevant—helping students connect knowledge across disciplines, make sense of real-world challenges, and develop a strong moral compass anchored on truth and goodness.
Our goal is not only excellence in academics, but also the joyful pursuit of wisdom, integrity, and responsible freedom.
Learning Area Overviews
English
We develop lifelong readers and confident communicators. Students explore a wide range of literary works—both classical and contemporary—that sharpen their language skills and expand their worldview. The program emphasizes grammar, composition, and oral expression, cultivating the ability to speak and write with clarity, depth, and grace.
Mathematics
Our Math curriculum strengthens reasoning, logic, and problem-solving. Through discovery-based learning, students learn to make connections, analyze patterns, and apply mathematical thinking to real-life situations. We train them to become precise, analytical thinkers who are unafraid to ask questions and seek solutions.
Science
The Science program encourages curiosity and disciplined inquiry. Students explore the natural world through observation, experimentation, and research. They gain a strong foundation in scientific concepts while also developing critical thinking and a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of life and creation.
Social Studies & History
We cultivate historically aware, socially engaged, and globally conscious young women. The curriculum fosters national pride, ethical citizenship, and an appreciation of diverse cultures. Students reflect on the past, understand the present, and prepare to shape a better future.
Filipino
We develop love for our language and heritage. The Filipino program enhances communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while promoting deeper engagement with Philippine literature, values, and traditions. It strengthens identity, empathy, and cultural pride.
Religion
More than a subject, Religion is a way of life. Rooted in Catholic teaching and open to all, the program helps students grow in faith, live their values with authenticity, and understand their mission in the world. Service-learning and daily application of faith help students live with integrity, joy, and love for others.
Home Economics (HE)
Students learn valuable life skills in home management, food and nutrition, personal care, and etiquette. More than practicality, the subject promotes order, self-mastery, and a genuine love for family life—preparing students to nurture future homes with joy and confidence.
Music & Arts
Students explore dance, drama, music, and visual arts—deepening their creativity, emotional expression, and aesthetic appreciation. The arts program nurtures the imagination while developing discipline, collaboration, and an eye for beauty that uplifts and inspires.
Physical Education & Health
We promote the development of a healthy mind and body. Through sports, fitness activities, and health education, students build endurance, teamwork, and resilience. The program instills habits that support wellness, safety, and lifelong vitality.
