Chaplaincy
Spiritual care for the whole Rosehill community
The Chaplaincy at PAREF Rosehill plays an essential role in the school’s mission of forming not only the mind, but also the heart and soul.
Entrusted to the pastoral care of priests of Opus Dei, the Chaplaincy offers spiritual guidance and sacramental support to the entire school community—students, parents, alumnae, faculty, and staff. Everyone is invited to grow in their personal relationship with God through the means of formation made available in school.
Daily Mass is celebrated in the Mary the Queen school chapel and is open to all. Confessions and spiritual direction are available throughout the week, along with monthly recollections and classes in Catholic doctrine for parents and staff. These activities nurture a spirit of interior life, unity of the home and school, and the pursuit of holiness in ordinary life.
As St. Josemaría Escrivá reminds us,
“You must understand now more clearly that God is calling you to serve Him in and from the ordinary, material, and secular activities of human life.” (Conversations, 114)
Whether you are Catholic or not, the Chaplaincy fosters a welcoming space for all who wish to grow in virtue, seek spiritual guidance, or simply find quiet moments of prayer.
