At PAREF Rosehill, our Core Values serve as pillars that guide our entire community—students, parents, faculty, and staff—toward our shared mission of forming women of character, excellence, and service.
These values shape our habits, inform our decisions, and define the kind of learning environment we foster: one that is joyful, disciplined, and deeply rooted in Christian ideals. They create the conditions for each girl to grow not only in knowledge and confidence, but also in virtue and love.
Love for the Truth
We believe that the pursuit of truth is central to education. To love the truth means to seek it sincerely, to speak it courageously, and to live by it faithfully.
A Rosehill student embraces learning as a means to discover truth—about herself, others, and God. She listens with openness, engages in dialogue with respect, and develops the moral clarity to stand for what is right. She forms the habit of personal integrity, guided by a deep desire to live authentically in a world that often prefers convenience over conviction. She listens with respect, engages in dialogue with openness, and stands firm in what is right—resisting the temptation of moral relativism and choosing what is true and good.
Order and Hard Work
Excellence is not achieved by chance—it is the fruit of perseverance, discipline, and intentional effort. At Rosehill, we value order not simply for its structure, but because it reflects a desire to do things well, with purpose and love.
A Rosehill student learns to take responsibility for her time and tasks. She sets priorities, follows through, and gives her best—even in the small things. She understands that well-done work is a form of service, and that consistency in effort leads to growth in character.
As St. Josemaría Escrivá wrote:
“Order will bring harmony to your life and lead you to perseverance. Order will give peace to your heart, and dignity to your composure.”
— The Forge, no. 806
Optimism and Cheerfulness
Rooted in hope and faith, optimism and cheerfulness empower students to face challenges with courage and resilience. These virtues uplift the spirit, inspire others, and bring warmth to the community.
A Rosehill student carries herself with a positive attitude. She approaches each day with gratitude, learns from both success and failure, and remains hopeful even during hard moments. Her joy is not shallow—it is grounded in a sense of purpose, and a trust in God’s loving plan.
“True virtue is not sad or disagreeable, but pleasantly cheerful.”
— St. Josemaría Escrivá, The Way, no. 657
Cheerfulness becomes a sign of her interior peace, and a way she lifts the hearts of others.
Service to God and Others
At the heart of Rosehill education is a desire to form young women who give of themselves generously. True service begins with love for God and flows outward in compassion, empathy, and action.
A Rosehill student nurtures a personal relationship with God through prayer, the sacraments, and a life of faith. She learns to use her time, talents, and leadership not for recognition, but to uplift others. Whether at home, in school, or in society, she looks for ways to serve with humility and intention.
In doing so, she discovers that a life lived for others is a life of joy, meaning, and true greatness.
